Default Hobby Lobby has new backing fabric!

When I was buying fabric at Hobby Lobby Saturday, the sales lady pointed out a whole line of new backing fabric. She said it had just come in. I have bought muslin backing there before, but this is a nice surprise. In our store, it wasn't in the "line of cotton quilting fabric," but it was right in front of that, where flannel, broadcloth, etc. are.

It had the 30% off sign up by it and I think it was priced at $12.99. I like having a new place to buy backing . And if you ask the sales lady to write it up as not on sale, you can use your 40% off coupon!!

I noticed that too when I was in the store last Wednesday. It has a nice feel to it and the look of suede tonal. I LOVE being able to pick what I want to use my 40% off coupon.

We've had it in our store for about 3 weeks now. I now work for Hobby Lobby part time and don't know the right way to post all the new items they are getting in now.

I think this may be the place to post new items that might interest us quilters. I posted this to Main first, and it was transferred here.

Good to know! I'm about to be in need!! Finally!! And the backing I ordered online last week still hasn't come and being shipped USPS will take a while. So I can go get something for the other top patiently waiting for a sandwich and start on it first! I love Hob-Lob!

My question is. Was there colors to pick from? Getting tried of using white, natural or black.

Yes, there was a nice variety. I wasn't looking for a backing at the time so I didn't inspect them closely, but I think there were about 20 fabrics there. I did notice that one of my favorite fabrics was there...a gold and light gold vine-type print. I have used that fabric in several quilts and will probably use it one the back, now that I know it is available.
