Default Mitred Corners - a vidoe by Muv!!!

Muv has sent me another video to post:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsFOI...re=uploademail
If you find mitred corners tricky when binding a quilt, this method may be the answer for you. No fancy gadgets needed - just hairgrips and an unpicker - grab some tea and a biscuit with marmalade and enjoy!!!!!!!

OOPS I spelled video wrong - sorry Muv I can't seem to edit the title.

That's all right Miriam - you've spelt mitred the English way so I am more than happy!

Just finished watching the video. Enjoyed it and will try it when I put the edging on my quilted treadle machine cover.

Thank you for the video, I still struggle with mitred corners sometimes. It seems I can get three of the corners just fine but one always looks a bit wonky to me. I will use your method next time for sure. BTW, in Canada we also spell mitre the "British way" despite the fact the spell check disagrees.

Thanks vey much. Wish I had seen this yesterday. My corners were wonky. Seems I haveno problem until
I turn them over, then for whatever reason they are difficult to lie straight.
