Are the hooks small enough for the holes in the rulers?
Good idea.

I hang templates and rulers that I don't use often on belt hangers from Walmarts.

my problem is no wall space. I live in a cape style of home; for those not familiar, second floor have half walls then slants up at an angle and the ceiling slants down at an angle to meet.

You can also buy a small piece of pegboard from someplace like Lowe's or Hhome Depot. Mount it on lattice strips or 1x2's and use pegboard hooks, which are relatively cheap, especiall at discount tool stores.

I have a small bare wall in my sm walk in closet that has loads of fabric on shelves and my Hubby put up a lg, pc of pegboard that he had a thin frame put on and I have lots of hooks for all my rulers hanging on them. It works great!!
