LOVE this method,I have pics in my albums of some mini tops I did using 1 inch, 2 inch and 1 X 2 inch pieces. Love minis, used this method to do the ones in my avatar.

I learned something today. Thank you. Now too bad I didn't know this a couple of months ago when a customer asked me about the interfacing to do this. Now I know which one it is. Yes I will give this a try. Again thank you.
