Tables and tables of clean, neatly arranged, nice fabric at $4.00 a yard for regular and $5.00 a yard for batiks! Fat quarters for 25 cents and panels for $1.00!! Moda, RJR, Marcus Brothers and many other quilt shop quality fabrics will be available in yardage as well as smaller pieces. The sale will be Saturday, October 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30p.m. at 3321 Andover Drive, Bedford, TX. Be there at 9:30 for best selection. Don't miss this one!!!

LOL, I love the way you think. Perhaps a plane could be hired and flown to every corner of the US and Europe and fabric drops made. I'm afraid the stampede would be more then in countries where food is dropped from planes.

I think that's high for basically a garage sale. Around here when there is a garage sale with fabric it's $2 a yard. www.thousandsofbolts.com has all fabric (Not batiks) for under $5 a yard and it's all first quality....and no waiting in line to get it cut. (Yes, shipping if under $35) The woman who inherited all this fabric, for free I assume, is really going to make a bundle!! IMHO. anyway.

Sounds like fun; wish I could make it. And what's wrong with the heir making a few bucks? If she can't use it, selling or giving away are the options. If the price is too high, you just don't buy!
