Hi wonderful folks.......this is tapper.
I was looking around the 'net to find out how to sew a border to a table runner with 'pointy' ends.
I found this . It answered my questions and added another pattern to my 'try-this' list.

that is really cute.
I like this table runner a lot. I keep a bunch on hand to give as little gifts-----hostess, birthday,thank you, etc. I think I will add this one to my collection.
