The pattern I have wanted for a while is the "Symphony in Hue" which is now discontinued. I love it..so instead of buying fabric I ordered their messager bag from the VB website. Luckily I registered two days ago but I kept putting off deciding which piece I wanted. Then tonight they sent me an email with a code in it for free shipping and $20.00 off when you spend $75.00. So I ordered the messenger bag and a lunch bag for my gd since I don't need another tote bag.. So I am happy.

This is true and duly noted. My best guess is that this fabric is either seconds or large remenants. Considering the fact that the fabric is now manufactured in China I think there is a large chance that it could be authentic. I would be more suspicious of a domestic company with amounts of this fabric for this price seeing that it is not manufactured here any longer.

I liked the Vera Bradley Facebook page and get coupons all the time, most are 60% off different items. Never pay full price for VB at the store.

I don't do facebook so to register at their website was the next best thing for me to do.

Facebook specials and blogs give away prizes more then pay for my internet with the free and discounted quilting items I get all year. I won a free Riley Blake layer cake last week in a blog giveaway that was on Facebook. I have a quilting Facebook page that nothing but quilting related sites show up. So easy to just click and enter the giveaways. No browsing time needed.

I agree that it's probably bolts of large remmnants. And that it is probably legit, especially considering they have a couple of patterns listed there that have not even been released yet. I took a chance and bought a yard of two different ones last night, I'll try to post pics/a review when they arrive.

Try this site www.etsy.com/shop/handmadesource for VB fabrics. If not in stock ask the shop owner as many are available. My friend bought some and the quality was good, and wide! I think they are factory overruns and authentic.

Got Marina Paisley and Sun Valley, which are two Summer 2013 prints, from this website and received both before they released the actual bags in the US a few weeks ago.
Seem to have pretty legit looking salvages to me: Name: be8b4d71-af14-4332-9bc3-3315ab775bde_zpsbceeebf8.jpg

Apologies for the giant text, just don't want this photo stolen and used incorrectly.

Also to note, if you do order from this website make an account. They provide tracking numbers on their packages to your order info on the account. They can be looked up on ChinaPost's website, and USPS when they get here.

Just to throw this into the mix, here's another site that sells VB fabric remnants. And, yes it's 59 inches wide, so it's a pretty good deal. Also, there are a lot of VB napkins for sale on this site. Didn't know VB sold napkins. Might make a really cool DNP??
