Cool Illusion - cute pattern

I found this pattern at the McCalls website. www.mccallsquilting.com I think it is really cute and it's fast - only 1 block that is switched around.

The link for the Illusion quilt is http://www.mccallsquilting.com/conte...s/Illusion.pdf .

Have fun with it. Be sure to check out the site if you haven't. They have some other free patterns also.

THANK YOU for that pic and mccalls site. I have been sorting out my fabric all colors in their own tubs until I get them all together, ((out of the closet, under the table)) you know what I am talking about. red, blue, greens (,like that) then back in the drawers. I have way way to much fabric and need to start making more quilts. I have a huge tub of red and blues. I can mix them with black or white and that will help lower my stach. I can't buy more newer stuff if I have all this. lol

thx again,.Dawn

Same here, use what I have before buying anymore. I did buy 2 yds. of Insulbrite at JoAnns, but used a 50% off coupon, and I don't consider that as fabric.

Great pattern, thank you for this. I am also using up lots of fabric for charity quilts and this pattern is easy
to whip up (even in smaller sizes than queen). After all my stash is gone I am off to the fabric store for
more, because what is a woman without fabric??

Would love to see this quilt if any of you make it. I want to make one but haven't decided on colors yet. I am working on an Auburn quilt for my dd and wish I had chosen a similar pattern or this one instead of different blocks like I did. I may put hers aside and cut a new one with this pattern. I just really like it.

Have a great day and enjoy the pattern if you make it.
