I just saw this quilt on eBay. I thought it was an interesting take on the snowball pattern. They are calling it "Indiana Puzzle." I've never heard it called that, have you?

It's not a snowball. It's actually drunkard's path blocks but not set where they form a path.

I was thinking drunkard's path as well. I have a bin with pieces I started 15 years ago that one day I might finish!

Oh, good!! I thought I was wrong in my thinking that it wasn't a snowball like they stated. I do like the way they laid it out. It certainly gives a different look to the block. At first glance I actually thought it read Indian Puzzle. I even copied and saved it in a Word document with that title, then when I wrote this post and pasted the link, I noticed that it read Indiana. I'm such a goofus!!!

Just googled Indiana Puzzle and got 2 different patterns just from sites on the first page. Neither was like this.

Actually, many decades ago this block WAS called snowball.
I have one in white and spring green print from the 20s-30s that makes me think of a late winter/early spring snow after the trees have begun to leaf out.

It looks like a Drunkard's Path pattern to me.
