Interesting - Quilting Quickly magazine is still being published...

... but apparently it's no longer associated with Jenny Doan and/or Missouri Star.

I guess Fons & Porter decided to keep the magazine and the name that's associated with Jenny's input. I haven't seen it in person, just on F&P's website. They have both paper and digital editions available:

Looks like somehow it's now associated with Keepsake Quilting - at least, they are going to sell the kits for all of the projects in the magazine.

I know it's been mentioned on this Board before that Jenny wasn't involved with this magazine any longer. Just giving a heads-up to everyone. I'm looking forward to checking out the "new" magazine anyway, just to see what the projects are like.

Asking a seamstress to mend is like asking Picasso to paint your garage.

I saw that too - I was surprised to see it - I am curious about the magazine - I loved it when Jenny was doing it - I am hoping that they continue with the same kind of projects.

Thought on Craftsy that Jenny had two books on Quilting Quickly. Love Jenny Doan... she makes everything look so easy

I also wonder if it will be as good as it was in the past when Jenny Doan was associated with it -- she has a knack for coming up with fun projects and new ways to do things. Love her 'folksy' videos, too. We'll see....

Keepsake makes all the quilt kits sold for many magazines... Fons and Porter, McCalls .. just to name a few. It's done in a separate location from the retail shop.

I've heard that Keepsake was up for sale and that it was purchased by Fons and Porter.

I bought a copy of the latest "Quilting Quickly" at Joann's late last week. It certainly has a different look to it. I have not spent much time with it to give it any kind of evaluation - but one pattern caught my eye, so I bought the magazine. I will miss the "flavor" Jenny gave to the past magazines.

See that Liz's name is again associated with everything....thought she retired (???) I always liked the calming effect she had on the show.
