I don't think it's that great of a deal. That machine is no longer being made and I paid $1900. retail for mine three years ago, same table for only $200.

Machine, (The red one). table ($500), 3 bins of fabric and all accessories. It is a good deal. Plus he will entertain offers.

It is being made with the white front, but it comes with less, no plexiglass table, no cover, no cd. I paid $1900 for JUST the machine.

I think if you walked up with cash, he'd take $1500 for the whole works. That's a decent deal. That machine looks like it was "not heavily used" and 18 gallon bins of fabric? If it is Moda, Kauffman, hmmm. I like mine but I've used it a LOT since I got mine in 2010.

I agree. I'm surprised that it hasn't sold.

How would you rate this machine? I've found both Red front and White front, new. Are there feature differences, not just the table and cover inclusions?

kathyk,
I LOVE my 7700. I am mostly a quilter, and I can sew a perfect 1/4" seam with it and use the walking foot to stid a serpentine stitch, and it all looks good. If I do make a garment, I can use an edge stitch on the seam allowance, and that looks good too.

I also have a Bernina 710 (for almost twice the price) and it (7700) is a MUCH BETTER machine than that, The 710 always requires a lot of fiddling and adjusting to get a decent stitch. I had to buy a ss plate and an additional foot just to get a decent straight stitch. And even that isn't as nice as the 7700. The 710 also requires a separate walking foot($170) to quilt. It has a built in dual feed, but that is only good on two layers. The Bernina has some beautiful decorative stitches in 9mm, but the walking foot only allows for 5.5 wide stitches.

I didn't know that the red 7700 was still being made. The red and the white are the same machine, just the accessories are different.
