Cute pinwheel quilt. I would do this one.

I purchase yardage and cut my own 10" squares. For the color, I will go through my stash and cut off a 10" strip of each of the blenders. That will give me 4 of each color.

Cheaper than using layer cakes.

Checked it out. Amazing what she does. I know that sewing on the bias can be a bit of a bugger.....but as long as you don't pull the sides, it works out okay.

How cute is that! Thank you for posting the link. I love the tutorials on that site but I forget about them. My LQS has those solid layer cakes and I have looked at them wondering why would anyone buy them, but wow, that would make a fast and easy quilt.

I have a bunch of pinwheel blocks I started to put together and quit because it was so boring! Now I know what to do to fix that!
