Default Joanns coupon 60 percent off one regular priced item

I received one of the emails and it included the 60 percent off one regular priced item.

It worked out great for me because I needed to purchase some canvas to recover part of my sofa base. Normally $9.99 a yard (60 inch wide woohoo!) and not on sale so I ended up getting 3 yards for around $12.00 (=).

They make you work to find something not sale of course, but there are some regular priced items in the store.

My mailer advertises keepsake calicos on sale (I believe 50 percent off) at the end of month, and then there is a 20 percent off total purchase good for a few days at the same time.

I had a 60% off coupon and was set to use it on some fabric for a quilt back, there was no posting of any discount so thought I would use it - well, they cut the fabric and it showed on the little receipt it was 30%, really? It wasn't posted, but I had a 20% off entire purchase (even the sale items) for that day only. I was using a gift card too, so it was free. (After I got the fabric I went over to see if I missed the posted discount notice, but there wasn't one there. So I think someone may have put the fabric where it didn't belong. It didn't really go with the other fabric in the area. My friend used to try and hide fabric in a different location if she was coming back the next day for a sale.)

I have bought basting spray several times at JoAnns but when I checked out and wanted to use a coupon was told it was already on sale. It is never marked that it is on sale, so now I will ask first before buying.

I've had that problem with JoAnns too. When I tried to use a coupon for batting I found out at the checkout that it was on sale. There was no sale sign anywhere in the whole batting section! The was some batting there was no price marked at all. Another time I had a coupon for 40% off any item from the "notions wall". I chose a quilting ruler from a section labeled "quilting notions". At the checkout I was informed that the coupon wouldn't work for that ruler. it had to be from the "notions wall". when I asked the clerk where the notions wall was she looked confused and finally said "it's where you get elastic and stuff". Since there are notions all over that store I never have been able to determine where this so called notions wall is. Every time I ask an employee I get the same puzzled look and no answer.. Another time I went to buy heavyweight interfacing. For some reason at that time the interfacing was all behind the cutting table and you had to ask the employee there to retrieve the interfacing. The clerk brought me featherweight interfacing. When I repeated that I wanted heavyweight she said "this is the heaviest weight we carry". A different clerk went to the same shelf and brought me the heavyweight. JoAnn s is the only place in my town to buy fabric and sewing supplies and I've gotten some good bargains there but it's sometimes frustrating to shop there.

I had received the 60% off coupon for fabric last week, Sunday I called ahead to see if this coupon applied to batting, the employee stated it did if the batting was off the roll, not the packaged precut. I was just a little dismayed while at the cut counter a different employee informed me it was not included, the employee became agitated and a little dramatic, I did state "I in fact had called ahead to get the information", anyway it was not a pretty sight, I did leave without the batting. so I could return yesterday with two 60% off coupons(mailer and email versions) and was able to use both for the batting and a can of basting spray. Neither items had "Sale" signs posted. Sunday was their lucky day, I gave them the facts, kept my cool, I did not call management to complain, just an unfortunate scenario that necessitating a return trip on Thursday. I feel bad for the cut counter lady, she made something of a fool of herself to me and the other customers at the cut counter.

There was a lady in front of me buying the whole off the bolt batting (poly). I asked if she was making kids quilts and she told me quilts for others...she had 12 quilts waiting for her to quilt them. I believe she told me she paid around $1 a yard for it, but she did have to drive a little to get to that Joanns. It was worth it for her.

There's always an issue with coupons, but I was able to use the 60 percent off without incident. Just sharing for those of you who might have missed the email.

Default 60% off

They also put coupons on the internet that a person doesn't know about... I bought some interfacing there this week and would not of known that it was 60% off unless the lady at the cutting table told me.. It had to be looked up on my phone. I got 2 yds of interfacing that would of been around $20 and I got it for $8 something.. Would not of know about the sale.. The 50% off coupons are very hard to use because they mark everything down.. and never allow you to take anything off on big items like irons or cutting mats.,. It is a marketing trick to get you into the store..

I needed some neutrals and just about everything was 30% or 40% off and Red Dot was 50% off. Got some red dot and my husband and I used our 60% off coupons on Wonder Clips and Basting Spray. Off to Michael's with my 50% off coupons to get some batting.
