He did use two different kinds of thread. I wished he took off the smaller spool from the machine and use it on the thread dispenser so we could see the difference from the smaller spool.

Wow....I had to have one. Notice I said had! Prices are $149 for large and $129 for small.....

Never heard of it before, but I did watch the video and checked out their catalog. While the idea of the thread coming off the spool does make sense, I don't recall having my metalic thread break as much or come out as messy as he demonstrated.
Guess I'm not ready to spend $149.99 (for large) or even $129.99 (for small) thread dispenser. Think I'd like to hear some reviews from nationally known reputable quilters.
