They are so fast to make and great for the little ones!!Especially when you can use the novelty fabric that they like the best..I actually did not follow the pattern.I traced around a place mat and put some filler between the two fabrics and did the method where you turn it inside out then leave an opening big enough after sewing,that you can pull it through to the right side.But,that is me and you may want to do it your own way. Enjoy

For these bags did you use the vinyl plastic instead of the ziplock bags that the link showed? Is the white around the plastic some sort of binding?

I jut used some vinyl bags that I had that had zippers on them.I cut them and sewed the bottoms shut.I can't remember where I got them from.I think that something came in them and I saved them.But I suppose you could use those fabric covered zippered pencil bags.
