    I liked the tutorial, but I thought log cabins had a light and a darker side. I would like to have seen a finished quilt. I am thinking that using hexagons that maybe the finished quilt might look more like a grandma's flower garden?

    Great idea and just what I needed...another one for the bucket which has long since overflowed and threatens to drown me. I know that before I proceed today to put borders on the John Deere quilt, I will have to try the hex block, just for grins. Thanks for sharing this video.
