I know the woman that invented the 3D Threader. It gives quilts such a unique look and really draws attention to the quilting. Penny has more information about this at http://www.3dthreader.com/

The quilt is stunning and the quilting shows great imagination for enhancing the star. The 3D Threader sure does make it stand out.

In the November, 2010, issue of American Quilter is a layout of the Winners of the 2010 AQS Quilt Show & Contest in Knoxville. The quilt that won Best Wall Quilt by Karen Fisher has a similar "style" in that it's a mix of different colorful "blocks", putting together a great look all together.
