http://lostquilt.com/
This is a web site to post lost quilts or found quilt that need to find their owners.
My friend made a quilt for (QOV) Quilts of Valor, to be presented to a wounded military person. She mailed it out on July 6th and it was scanned at their transfer station in PA and it left enroute, but never got scanned when it arrived at Dover Air Force Base and no one knows where it is. I helped get it posted on this website and maybe one day someone will see it and let us know it is well. At one point she was told it was in a truck that was on fire. Now she is told that it was not on that truck. This truck was going in a different direction that her quilt was supposed to go. So we fear it was stolen. Please check out this web site and the photo and spread the word.

It's a shame that one got lost. Someone took a lot of time to make that for someone. I appreciate you posting on this site, as well as the other site.

I'm hoping it will be found.

Gee what a shame, someone stole one from our encology department at the local hospital, it was made by a lady that had cancer herself, can't believe how criminal some people can be.

Wow, anyone who would steal from someone who was good enough to make a quilt for a veteran will not have good karma in life.

Yes, Dee, that is what I am hoping. Maybe the comformation piece came off and it could not get scanned, but it made it. That is why I posted it on many quilting pages. Someone may see it and report where it is.... Maybe it is still at the bottom of the mail room at Dover Air Force base.....
