A friend called to say that Marshall's in Batesville, AR is having a warehouse sale through the end of April. The warehouse is in a building adjacent to the store. All types of fabrics are available and you have to purchase whatever is left on the bolt. Sale price is $1.00 per pound. One of the bolts they bought has some discoloration toward the end, but still well worth the price

Approx. how many yards in a pound?

That depends on the fabric. Upholestry fabric is also on sale, which would weigh more than cottons.

Darn it's WAY WAY WAY to far for me...

My last name is Marshall, and when I saw Marshalls, I thought it was the department store.

I'm glad to know there is a fabric store named Marshall's too!!!
