Default Millers Dry Goods in Millersburg Ohio

A couple of weeks ago when on vacation stopped in here. Great store located in Amish County Holmes County Ohio. I bought some great material but didn't buy enough.Went to their website and found it, ordered it on Thursday night and it arrived Saturday!!!! WOW and I used regular ground shipping. I suppose it came so fast because I am only about an hour and half away but i still considered it a great time on the shipping. They sent emails confirming each stage on my order. check their websiste out!

I LOVE that place and I go there frequently. Last time I was there, husband was with me. I'd hand him a bolt and he'd just stand there. It was during a quilt shop hop, so it was crowded. The women wanted to take him home with them! He even helped restock while I was shopping by putting some of the bolts that go on higher shelves for the ladies that work there.

The shop is in Charm, Ohio. For the men in your lives who really don't want to be in a quilt shop, just up the hill there is Keim Lumber - another WONDERFUL place to shop. It's a hardware store and lumber yard. They have all kinds of exotic woods, beautiful fixtures, etc.

Shop hop? ... waaaaaaay too crowded esp. on those narrow winding country roads! HAhaha but we guild girls make our own "road trip" once in a while and WE LOVE MILLER'S! We make the rounds of the several QS in that area.

No husbands allowed unless it's just him and me so I can direct him to Kidron and the hardware store there. There is also a flea market across the street (Open every Thursday and Saturday April to November) ... need to get down again one of these days.

I am going to Cleveland in Sept for a wedding and want to make a vacation out of it. Any other suggestions on where to go when I am out there. I was looking at the Amish quilt shops and wondering what ones to go to. Hubby is happy sitting in the car or on a bench watching people.

Love that shop. I always go there when we are over that way. My husband is great about my quilt shopping. Usually sits and talks to any and everyone.

Holmes County is wonderful. We stayed at The Inn at Walnut Creek and it was very inexpensive with a great breakfast. Rene's was highly recommended for a restaurant by the guys who ate there.

Country Cupboard in Berlin just down the road is a great craft/fabric store owned by Karen lamp who designs applique patterns. Every meal we had was great no matter what restaurant.

Went to Cleveland from May 22 to May 29. Spent a day in Amish county "shop hopping" with family. We hit Miller's Dry Goods as well as 4-5 others located in the same area. If you pick up an Amish Country Map/Directory they list the quilt shops with the landmarks.
