    M*QC Binding Tool Stár Quilt

Jenny has a new tutorial-Binding Tool Star Quilt using the binding tool and a jelly roll to make a star quilt. The star is constructed in the French Braid manner. Maybe someone can add the link?

Those colors are awesome! Love the color palette...it's always intriguing to me how people come up with these ideas. I may have to try this one!

I watched that video and really enjoyed it. I bought that binding tool, in fact, I bought 2. The first one somehow mysteriously disappeared and I searched everywhere in my sewing room and could not find it, so I bought another one. For some reason I just can't seem to get the hang of using it, so now I have a good use for it. I love the color palette she used, Jenny Beyer does have beautiful colors in her fabrics, but I might use other fabrics so that I don't have to buy any new fabric. But there are many other projects on the back burners that need to get done first. At least the project will be in the next Block magazine.

Exactly my experience with that... binding tool, I watched and watched the tutorial and never could get the binding to come out using that tool, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that had problems.

NOW I can use it for this tutorial to make the "Binding Tool Star Quilt."

The one binding tutorial that I've used many, many times now, that works wonderfully for me is from Heirloom Creations on YouTube
