I do not like Fons and Porter especially now Mary Annis bowing out or looks like it.

I will definitely be keeping my subscription. Even if there is only one project that cranks my tractor, at $5.99 it's cheaper than buying one pattern. Not only that, the projects that don't do anything for me today, just might be my passion next year. I've dropped all subscriptions except BLOCK.

I like it as I can't get service on TV or internet so therefore the magazine gives me tutorial on a certain pattern that I want to do while out in the country (farm land in Ga)
take plenty of pic of family & friends, keep tabs on loved ones but make time for yourself !

Received #3 Friday but did not have a chance to look thru it until today while my house cleaner was here. Love it.

I got the first one "idea book" it was called. fits well. not all pattern instructions are in there, one must see the tutorials or buy rulers, etc. So i cancelled my subscription. i don't really need another magazine, idea book.

Perhaps this magazine is not for alot of folks but I personally like it very much... To each his own.. I say if you don't like it don't continue to buy it.

I'm liking the Block magazine. Any other subscription I've done has had an "off" issue as soon as I subscribed. Some more than 1. If I remember correctly you can suspend your subscription & restart later if you want.

I got the third issue but also canceled it going forward. I have too many patterns now and can just look online if I ever get to where I can make one of the projects! I like the format and projects and find it very clear but have way too much.

I loved the quilt top that had a giant star surrounded by 5" blocks. I will most definitely make that quilt - you could also use a layer cake instead of the charm packs - just cut it up into 5" squares. I love this book/magazine but I still keep my other mags too.
