My DH and I stopped there last year. We got there in the afternoon and did not have near enough time (according to me LOL!).

So DH has agreed we can go there this May for my birthday.

DH and I were there a couple years ago! Loved seeing the impact they were having on the little town of Hamilton! We stayed in small motel in Cameron...Loved Crossroads shop!! Do stop there if you are up that way. We spent two days in the area and found a great Amish store close by.

We are planning a visit at the end of September on our way to Albuquerque and Las Vegas. We might be there during the annual Birthday Bash, I haven't been able to confirm the event dates. If so, it will be like Disney for sure!

This place is totally awesome---almost overwhelming---so much to see---also there is a little Amish town called Jamesport a few miles to the east on highway 6 that has a quilt store and all kinds of neat "stuff" and fabuless food and various gift stores---you will all love both

just watched that video and the part 1 too. I'm thinking instead of Paducah...crowds galore.....a nice weekend in Hamilton might be better.....I'm going to check out mapquest.......

I went online to Trip Advisor to search for motels in Hamilton, MO and there are none. The closest motel listings are in Cameron, MO. I have ordered online from MSQC and love their fabrics. The orders are always accurate and I receive the packages within a few days of ordering. HTH, Karen N., NW Iowa
