Saw it this morning and it is a good demo on using light weight fusible for applique.
Such a pretty quilt. I love the orange peel pattern.
Going to watch this tonight...made the square in the square recently & got it quilted, back yesterday. Will bind and post here soon. Just love MQ tutorials !

This technique is similar to the way Eleanor Burns showed how to do Sunbonnet Sue years and years ago. I have also used this for leaves on a quilt. Sure is neat.

I have used this method for picture applique but never thought of tackling a whole quilt with it - but it looks very do-able.

I've done this with large circles, but then trimmed away the backgrnd and fusible to I/4" leaving only the front pumpkin seed....Originally Posted by Marysewfun
