Default Muslin

Fabric.com had muslim in clearance for 1.95 a yard...Not only is it 90 inches wide-- it is nice and heavy. It will make great quilt backs..I also got a few other yardages for 1.95 a yard that would make backing for a lot of color combinations

Thanks so much for sharing that info! I love backing my quilts (mostly lap quilts) with muslin!! I'm off to go shopping . . .

what a good buy. that is what I use (and dye) to make the doll bodies for the dolls I make and give to children with devastating conditions. 155 so far since 2007, and most to kids with cancer. Gosh ten yards would mean ten dolls. OH WELL. the dolls are free and so is postage. if any want to go see what they look like, here is the link. I also send out a 'kit type thing' with sewing instructions' with the provision that at minimum of one MUST be made and given to a child with devastating problems. (The girl dolls are a topsy turvy or two in one doll)

thanks
