Thread: A new crafty class

...looks interesting......quilting with walking foot.....might sign up...never know everything about everything!

I signed up yesterday and have already watched the first section of the class. I love the instructor... her name is Jacquie Gering and she's a modern quilter. As soon as I watched her use duct tape on her walking foot, I said, she's my kind of gal! She's funny and very engaging. I don't usually sign up for Craftsy classes unless they are 50% off, but since I'm finally going to buy myself a high-speed straight-stitch machine, I figured learning the walking foot techniques would be perfect (since my free-motion skills still need some work).

I took Piecing Hexies by machine in Paducah from her and just loved her and the class.
