Thanks for the update on these markets, as I'm hoping to get to Wal-Mart before they are all gone.

These and the washable crayons are the only type I buy for the grands. I stock up at the school sale. I noticed the Frixion three pen set was included in the back to school sale at Walmart. A red, blue, and black pen for $1.98.

I saw the frixion pens also. Are they the same thing? Awesome price if they are. I tested these Crayola markers on some white scrap fabric from my next quilt. I marked all colors, ironed twice, waited 24 hours to simulate how long it would take me to quilt it once I had it marked. It all came out in the washing machine. Not by running it under water at the sink (like the embroidery marker) I am thrilled! But I do think I'll test first.

I also just bought the Ultra-washable markers in both the bold and classic colors for 1.97 each. I can't wait to try them. This is definitely the time to buy, since all the back to school stuff is out.

I marked with the red, ironed over several times, washed twice in hot water, the last time treated with rubbing alcohol, and other stain sprays, the red is still visible in places. Use caution when using. Mine was probably ironed over too many times.
