Thanks for the link, but I'm way too tight with my money to buy specialized rulers and such, but if you like them that's great, just not for me.

I haven't ventured into using my scraps yet...I open the containers their in and I get overwhelmed and close them up and run lol.

It's neat if you're cutting from random scraps, but if you have 10" squares like she uses in the video, it's easier to just do this (see link below). No template is required, and all the blocks will have slightly different shapes. You can use any size square, really. It doesn't have to be 10".

But, like I said, if you have a pile of random scraps, it would be neat to have a template so that you can cut them into the exact shapes needed for a perfect fit.

not for me either I love scrap quilts but I do not need special templates to make them that really looks like a spin off of stack the deck where no templates are needed just another gimmick for sale

I almost bought the rulers at the international quilt show this year. I talked myself out of it. Would be a good way to use up all of my scraps.
