Check out the newest tutorial by Jenny Doan. It is for a really cute house quilt. I would like to make it but don't want to invest in a new template.Any ideas????

Sometimes you just have to sit in a chair and jog in order to get anywhere.

The pattern and template are in her new Quilting Quickly book. You can make your own hard template. The quilt is really cute.

She used the same hexie in the new sailboat tute that came out this morning. One thing I would add to the sailboat tute would be to starch your fabric for the sails before sewing and cutting. You are dealing with bias edges on all four pieces of the sails. Enjoy sewing today, I'm off to a 90th birthday party.
