Found this great website: www.dickblick.com. 500 sheets for $3.45 but shipping is $6.95 but still 500 sheets will last a v-e-r-y long time. Just right to go thru printer but not more than 3 or 4 at a time. Very fast delivery too.

Dick Blick (at least the retail stores) also offer a good selection of products for dyeing and art quilts.

Thanks I have been looking for news print. Ordered 2 reams, they were on sale today for $3.45-- still had to pay the same shipping = 6.95

I found newsprint at the Northern Tool store in Houston. I was surprised to see it there.

It is used for paper piecing. Light enough to tear away well.

Sometimes at your local newspaper ( if you live in a smallish town) they cut the rolls of paper off, if it is too wide for some jobs. They wil give away or charge very little for it. It works great for so many things, including kids on a day when you need a quilting break. Just add crayons or markers!
