these are so cool and we use them at our sew day at the church, so just pack your extensions and go to the sew day to raise the banquet tables to your size

I've been using the black ones under my cutting table for a few months now and what a difference! My back doesn't kill me anymore while I'm cutting fabric.

I use a 5 ft long table for my sewing machine and put the bed risers on this so that I can sit on a swivel stool. I have found this to be the most comfy position--it is easy for getting up to iron or cut more and I can keep my legs straighter than when I sat on a chair.

I have an old long banquet table from a previous church we went to. We gave them new plastic tables and in return, I got two of the banquet tables. Anyway, I immediately had DH saw up some PVC pipes and inserted them on the legs. Never have back issues while cutting, layig out patterns, etc. And sometimes I just bend at the waist over the top to stretch my back out.

I can't afford any thing right now. but trying to cut fabric really hurts me. I have one of those very high dinning room table, but I think no matter what I do it is gone to hurt. Penny

Penny, I use a banquet table with a sheet of MDF on top then my cutting mats on top of that. Naturally the height is too low so I raised my table by putting empty coffee cans (the metal ones) under the legs. It raised it to a perfect height for me. You could also use large veggie cans. I too am on a tight budget.

Hay thank you for the ideal, normally I can think of things on my own, but with this pain fogged brain of mine things don,t just pop in like they use to. Penny
