I ran across the nifty way to make flying geese - 'thought you would get a kick out of it - make sure and watch the entire clip!

This makes it so easy. I had a quilt pattern that I really wanted to make but it was full of flying geese. I don't really care to make a lot of those. When I saw this video I cut them out right away and took them to my last retreat. I was able to get the top done at retreat and now all I have to do is quilt it. I told everyone that Ricky Timms came to my house and showed me how to do it. LOL Of course I eventually told them that he came via my computer but. . . . .

I'm going to do SITD. I want the 3D geese to still be 3D. I'll post when I get it done. It's for my 4 yr old GS so I wanted it to be a size that he could drag around. Although the pattern was for a kingsize I made his more of a couch throw size. I made my blocks smaller than the original pattern, used more colors, used glow in the dark fabric for my whites, etc. I'll post when I get it done.
