Default No more lost quilts!

https://www.thetrackr.com/

Wouldn't this be perfect to sew in a small hidden pocket of a quilt? Especially show quilts or quilts being mailed. The Crowd GPS would really work in the quilt community!

If I had a masterpiece quilt and was sending it to a show far away, I would definitely look into it.

Won't be long until tracker discs will be the normal thing to use.

I'm all for locating but not for tracking. LOL

This would be fabulous! The only thing that would make it better is if it was waterproof. Why? Then you could sew it between the quilt layers.

You have to be within 100 feet of the item.....or 100 feet from another tracker.....not many trackers out there and they would have to be close to your stolen or lost item to have Tracker find it? This needs more work....and I think I could find an item within 100 feet of my phone...if I just keep looking. If someone steals my purse, they will be far beyond 100 feet with it. Back to the drawing board.

Yes it's a start and will only get better in time. If GPS can locate anywhere then there should be a chip ready soon to do the same with any GPS. Of course the government already has this technology but it has to trickle down for the average consumer.
