Lightbulb Old Thread and Thread Spool Idea

I know there is a time when thread is no longer strong enough to use in quilting, sad, but it happens. So why not take those old spools of thread and make something for your sewing area/room. Found this idea while searching the internet and had to pass it on

They may be collectable, but if done right, this can be done with out doing any damage and can be removable if want at a later time. Just use a fishing line to tie them onto a wire wreath form. Then just hang on the wall to display some beautiful items.

The only thing missing is a bow (using a measuring tape).

I love the idea of the bow out of a measuring tape. Wonder how long it will take me looking for these to make one??? Would help if I would start to look. Here come thrift stores, antique stores and a good old fashion flea market to start with Might even have to check out the garage sales, never know what I will find.
