I have been using an older Ellison die cutting machine for about 9 years now to cut applique shapes...but I am ever so happy now that they Ellison/Sizzix has joined the Quilting industry!

I'm happy too. It gives me more selection for dies to use on my AccuQuilt Studio!

Hi --
you might like to know Sizzix are bringing out a whole new line of quilters dies, www.stitchintheditch.com are getting them first- we spoke with them a short time ago. I have both the sizzix machines plus the accuquilt, no comparison. the sizzix big shot pro is the best machine on the market, For strips I much prefer the Sizzix big shot or bsp, the cut is better no stretching -more layers and no pressure with turning the handle. I will keep checking on the site above for any news on the new dies -- I want to order some, they are having mothers day specials and I was hoping we might see something on the news dies for this enjoy your sizzix

no, the Canadian stores are NOT getting them first! I can pre-order them already from Checkerdist.com!
