Cute pincushion but scroll to the end to see how they use the pennies to weight it down so it won't "swim away!" Just another duh moment!!

If you don't work on it you'll never finish it.
Super cute. Thanks for sharing that tutorial.
Too cute! I can think of a few other projects to use the pennies with.
On the fish theme....I used leftover rocks from filling the goldfish bowl.
Another suggestion is to totally fill pincushion with Crushed Walnut Shells (available at Petstores) They add weight and the walnut oil is great for your pins and needles...
Yes that is a real picture of my hometown Temecula, California. We feature premiere Wineries, World Class Golf Courses, Pechanga Indian Casino and Hot Air Balloons
Adorable! I need to make one. I only have the store bought ones, except for the thread catcher one that I purchased from a board member.
So dh has some loose nuts and bolts in gargae. Think he'll miss them?

So cute! I collect pin cushions, will have to make this one. Thank you so much!!
Very cute and wonderful idea for pennies!
Very cute. I am printing it out right now. I wonder why they used pennies to weigh it down when they could have used the little glass rock things that are used to make the picture pretty. I have a ton of them I got at a yard sale.
