Default People in Maine or surrounding states

Run, don't walk to the Marden's fabric dept. They have lots of material on sale for only $1.99 per yard, nice quality fabric. In our local store in Waterville, it wasn't in the fabric department but just off the department when you head towards the front of the store. I bought lots and my total, even with several things not quilting related, came to $70. It is selling quickly which is why I suggest getting there soon. I'm thinking most will be gone by this weekend.

I live in Lewiston and last week they got in a huge shipment of new fabric so alot of the stuff that had been there a year or longer was marked down to as low as .99 a yard. I spent $78 and got some great stuff. I went yesterday and they had moved the fabric department to the opposite side of the store. Just a slight heart attack till I saw where the fabric dept had moved!

LOL, that's because I was born and raised in Massachusetts and forget sometimes that Maine is geographically where it is, in the frozen tundra. I guess all our Canadian friends could take advantage of the sale if near the border but I fear there will be nothing left after the ad appeared in the local paper.

So wish I was closer. Shopped Mardens passing through to Nova Scotia this summer. Highlight of the trip actually! Have fun all you quilters in cold country. You are blessed!
