Of course this made me think of a funny basenji story:
These dogs are typically known as the dog for people who like cats, and one Christmas I had an ornament near the top of the tree made from a Milk Bone (a dog treat) Our first basenji, Sugar, smelled it and decided she had to have it. The tree was a good 5' tall and she was a 22" dog. When no one was around she climbed to the top and got it.
To this day I know why some people have a wire pen around their tree
