If you havent registered for the Planet Patchwork email updates and you like mystery projects, register here http://planetpatchwork.com/update.htm They will email you requirements in December and it is completed new years day in one day. They post updates every hour on the hour.

Last year I got up at 3am Sydney time to start it, most people started at 9am or 10am. I got most of the blocks done on the day - but got tired from lack of sleep - there is a thread in the MAIN about this mystery project and it was a lot of fun.

I've done this in the past and it's fun. It's pretty amazing at how different they all turn out. I kinda wish I could see the finished project first to choose the colors, but that's the fun!

well, I didn't do the secret project because I decided to work on the choc/rasp block swap. I have 17 of them done. Then I peeked at the finished project and was kinda glad I didn't do it. It just didn't "do" it for me this year.
