Default Pleating using a fork

On this thread
http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...g-t127919.html

there was a question on using a fork to make pleats. Intrigued myself, I googled it and found this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUiTW8OOP78

She does it while sewing, but I suppose it could be pre-pinned or basted as well. Also, for smaller pleats, maybe it's as simple as using a smaller fork, like a lobster fork.

I once saw a crib quilt and the border was pleated, it was quite different and added so much to the quilt.

Just wanted to share.

Oh, wow, is she ever cleaver! My Mom would have loved that hint. She used to sew her own curtains and pleated drapes.

Thank you for sharing that video! I never thought a fork would be used in sewing. It's pretty neat.

That is very cool. I have never had any desire to pleat anything, but I may have to, now!
