I use the little ponytail holders made for little girls (made from the stretchy stuff that come in different colors - don't know exactly what they are called). They are small enough to fit over the bobbin and can be color matched to the thread.

I did see these at Walmart. They sell them at LQS where I go.

Well I did know that and I thank you for posting the link, I will add it to my list. I love this site everyone sharing how to save.

Cool trick. Thanks for sharing. Is the 3/8" good for plastic bobbins?
Or bobbin size doesn't really matter? I need to get me some as my bobbins are starting to get messy. |
Thank you very much. God bless.

wow, thanks for the tip! Will give it a try! I have been using the ponytail holders on mine, better than the tangles threads for sure!

Ohhhh, great tip....thanks!!

Thanks for the great info. I use small Rx containers too, but am always up for new ideas, especially when they make my workspace neater. :-) How very creative!

I went that same day to Lowe's and bought 3 feet of 3/8" plastic tubing, came home and cut it into pieces about 3/8". They work perfect around my bobbins, and they slide on and off very easily. My bobbins look so neat and organized now.
