Attack of the scraps!

http://littlemissshabby.blogspot.com...-tutorial.html

Starting my New Years Resolution a little early! Scraps are overtaking my house but I found this pattern to help.

and NO...not gonna cut into 1.5 in squares! But sewing strips to fit the size I need.

I've got that on my list of things to do, too. But I was thinking using charm squares and going for a whole quilt!

I just got done making blocks like that but with strips and I have the rows done but haven't put the rows together. I had to put my stuff away to vlean the house and decorate for Xmas.

Great blocks. Thanks for the link. Gotta finish Christmas projects first but I'd love to try these later.

I use my GO to cut squares for scrappy quilts........and also cut strips with it.....makes the cutting go a lot faster and more accurate.....for me anyway

Looks good. I agree with Willferg about doing it on a larger scale. I was thinking of doing it with my stash of Asian style fabrics, most all of which have a larger scale pattern, so a 5 inch block would work better.

I'm struggling to finish my Trial Mix quilt made from a bazillion 1 1/2" squares, so right now I kind of have an aversion to tiny pieces. . . .

Thanks for sharing!
