Barn Quilts

Barn quilts seem to really be getting to be a "rage"...there are 9 counties in Wisconsin where I live that are noted on a map where you can see where all the barn quilts are in that county. Many other states also have maps. Here is a link to where you can find out where the barn quilts are in your state...at least the ones that are registered.

I have seen many of the ones in Racine county and hope to do another barn quilt "tour" someday.

Thanks for the link! I was just reading about a barn quilt trail in Michigan this morning. Indiana is such the slacker state - only 2 counties listed!

I live in WI and did not know about barn quilts. Now I have to check them out when I am traveling. Thanks for the info and the link.

Carver County in Minnesota has a map to follow to see barn quilts. They have added quilts this year also. Hope to get out to see them this summer.

Marshall County, IN has a Barn Trail and I think Elkhart County does too.

We did a barn quilt tour in Michigan and in Ohio. Both were lots of fun.

I believe the article in a recent paper said that LaGrange County, In. now has 25 official barn quilts. Some others have been created but aren't on the list. Love having them to see.

My son and his girlfriend will be home next week from Utah and we will be doing a wine tour on Old Mission Peninsula...and it just so happens the barn quilts tour runs almost parallel to the wineries!

My daughter has already said she would paint some "quilts" for our raised ranch entry way...if she can figure out what the heck I'm talking about...hmmmmmmmm

We were driving through Motgantown WV and I saw one on a barn just off Route 68! It was beautiful!
