You may know Anna Marie Horner from her fabric designs. She has started a quilting project to help those affected by the floods in Tennessee this past spring. She lives in Nashville and saw the devastation first hand. If you have any 12" blocks laying around, I'm sure they would be put to good use.
Or, play around and make some new ones. Reduce those scraps so you can buy more fabric! There are color suggestions, but basically you can just play. Here's the link: http://www.annamariahorner.com/rainbow.html |

Mailed 4 blocks today. Ironically, the block name is "Bright Hopes". A very simple block using the partial seam technique. FAST!!! :-)

Thanks so much Theresa. Quilters are so giving. You know your blocks will brighten the lives of many that have suffered through that awful flood.

I 'saved' the pattern and will try to get as many as possible done to mail by Wed.
