I just joined Craftsy a week ago and I think I will like taking their classes. I had been hesitant about signing up because closed captioning on uTubes and online videos are usually done "automatically." Try one with automatic captions and you will see what I mean. They are poorly done and I just don't bother with them. The site's captioning is one of the best I have ever seen, and the text is below the video, so the captioning does not interfere with the picture on the screen. The words are highlighted as the instructor says them. Another concern was the cost of the classes, but there are specials like the one mentioned by KathieS above and I did sign up for one yesterday. Sometimes there are special discounts and there a few free short classes. Also the site offers patterns and some are free, too.

I love Craftsy classes. Leah Day just announced on her website she will have 2 new classes coming out this spring. If you haven't taken one of her classes I suggest you check them out.

I have been to the craftsy site and when the video pulls up there is no picture. I cannot figure out for what reason this is. Everything else including the comments shows up, the vid seems to be playing except no picture or sound. I cannot figure out why and to be honest I don't really care. There is so much out there, print and video that is free and I have so many patterns waiting to be done...well it is not worth the trouble. I much prefer the Craftsy Gemini and Missouri Star sites.
