DIY Sewing/Quilting Table
I was surfing the Internet and found this link for plans to make your own custom sewing table. It looks very easy to do and CHEAP. So I am off the the local thrift store today to see if I can find a cheap table to customize. I think that it is covered with slick vinyl it would work well for FMQ.

For sure. I have been wanting to make one for a long time but just could not figure out how to make an easy sewing machine support. What I like about the plans is that the machine support can be adjusted by the use of the bolts to fit the depth of your sewing machine. |

My son made me one of these using one of those long tables that the legs fold up. I think it's called a banquet table. I bought another one to put in a L shape and it is wonderful for quilting. Lots of area for quilts to lay on.
