Likewise, thanks!

I also saw this easier today, great idea and I ordered the angler

spinnergs 07-06-2011 06:51 PM

Like paper piecing without the paper!

jdiane318 07-06-2011 06:52 PM

Thanks for the tute, much simpler and easier. I would keep my pressing pad to the right of the machine and same even more time. I can do this.

djvaug 07-06-2011 07:01 PM

I like it! Thanks!

amma 07-06-2011 07:11 PM

Great tutorial :D:D:D

I would sew a second seam, and then cut the corner off. No sense in having waste, or having to square the pieces up later to sew them together

Looks like such fun to do also. Thanks so much. I love "flying geese".

Good link!! Thanks! Don't have the Angler? Draw a line or tape a line from needle straight down to the front edge of your machine bed ! I have the angler, but find it easier to just follow a drawn line on the machine, especially when needing to change the bobbin, etc. I like the chaining idea!

jaciqltznok 07-06-2011 08:18 PM

just get a black box..no video...

woody 07-06-2011 08:45 PM

Very clever, thanks

jaciqltznok 07-07-2011 05:30 AM

I had to fix my firefox/youtube love for each other and finally got to see the video...yeah..she makes it look so easy...think I might have to try that next week when life slows down a bit!

I don't think she said anything about sizes...guess since all FG patterns can vary in sizes it would depend on your pattern of choice..but you can use the technique no matter what size you are using.

Linda Star 07-07-2011 01:44 PM

Great Video. She makes it look easy. I bookmarked it so hope I remember that when I want to make some FG.
