I found this tutorial:
http://www.ludlowquiltandsew.co.uk/S...k_Cushion.html I tried this: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-114516-1.htm |
Thanks for the info! I am not sure if I will be able to do this.

I have made this block and it is beautiful, but, It makes a HEAVY quilt. I did altn. blocks, one blank and one star. Still it is to heavy for use. A queen size to.

Wow!

I loved the star. I looked at the one site and it showed what I thought an easy method. Unfortunally it was in a different language. Although I think with some effect I could do it. I am planning on trying your method. Thanks so much for sharing.

Many thanks for sharing, I always wondered how it is been done,

Thanks. Great looking quilt. Maybe a table runner if it is that heavy.

I found one on the internet that I really liked. It was a folded star pot holder. I used it to make a Christmas (Winter snow covered trees with ornaments on them and packages) table topper and an "Univ of Alabama" table topper. It takes a little time, but they turn out real good. I know the pictures look like the edges are crooked but it is just the way I placed the topper. I made one that was crooked, so I measured these before I put the binding on to make sure. LOL

Thank you, these are so pretty.

When I did these 15 years ago we called them "Radiant Stars"
