Thanks for the tute. My friend made a bunch of these last year as Christmas gifts and I was lucky enough to get one!! Now I can make my own.... :D

Nice tute...but after I left this site....pop up galore and had to reboot my pc. :evil: Not happy with this blog at all...I will try to find another site with similar pattern :D Hope that no one else has a problem with it.

Several years ago, a friend and I made another friend a quilt using the same technique for the blocks. Turned out to be pretty awesome even if I say so myself. Was done in ecru and peach. Can't believe either of us thought of taking a picture of it before packing it up and shipping it to her. Another one of the 'Duh' moments. Believe the pattern was in a book called 'Great American Quilts' published in the 80's.
