Free Craftsy backing class

I did a quick search and didn't see this posted anywhere, if it's a repeat I apologize. :o

I just found a new free class on craftsy called Creative Quilt Backs. The teacher is Elizabeth Hartman fom Oh Fransson! I know what I will be doing when the kids go to bed. :)

Also I got an email that are classes are on sale for 19.99 since I haven't logged in for awhile. I remember not everyone got the sale last time they did that, but you might check your email if it's been awhile. They have a few new classes that look interesting. I'm thinking about the quilting in negative space class or the modern quilting class.

I just received the same e-mail. Signed up for the quilt back class. Need some time to watch all my classes, before I sign up for more. Love them though.

Thanks, Misskira, for letting us know that the Creative Quilt Backs class is free. I just signed up for it. I may sign up for the Modern Quilting Class. With the classes on sale, I can't resist signing up for one. As a new quilter, I have learned so much from the Craftsy quilting classes. I love the fact that I can watch the lessons as often as I need to see them. Again, thanks for mentioning that the backing class is free. When I saw it listed, I thought it was a $19.99 class and wasn't interested; but free, yeah!

Thanks for the heads up. I signed up too.

I signed up for the free class too. I also got an invitation to sign up for any class for under $15.00 so I am just trying to decide which one I want to take.

Thanks so much for posting, somehow I missed it. I buy a lot of the lessons and I sure want to get the free ones.

I watched the class and it is well done. Most of us probably already create interesting backs, but she teaches the logic behind it and shows you how to work out the math. The last thing she does is build a back with leftover fabric, making a scrappy mosaic of colors. She shows you how to creatively arrange it, break it down into sections, and sew it all together. If you don't already have the confidence to make a creative back, you will when you're done watching this class.

Thank I signed up also. I just love the classes at Craftsy.

I signed up and watched it today. It was a nice presentation. How are the paid classes? How long are they?

This is a great site. I've viewed a tutorial on how to quilt a large quilt on a standard sewing machine. There are others on my list to see. I will take a look at this one...thanks!
